My name is Deborah and I am a real person and Mother living in Toronto, Canada. I am the Mother of 2 daughters. Both daughters are wonderful and both are very different in their own ways. I have learned so much from both of them and am still learning on a daily basis. I would have however, appreciated a place, a site, somewhere that I could go to which could have offered me some insight and guidance when I had questions on how to be the best parent I could be. The best parent, specifically for my daughter who struggles with anxiety.

Anxiety is the number one mental health problem facing children and adolescents today. It is however the most treatable. If you are a parent, like me, who suffers from excessive anxieties and fears then hopefully I can help you.
Here, my mission is to improve the quality of life for anxious children and their families by providing effective parenting tips, information and advice to help you learn and understand what anxiety is, how to identify symptoms, show you some effective treatments and strategies for anxiety management and how to prevent anxiety from taking hold of your child’s life. My hope is you find something helpful and useful in some way for your child and you.
Unfortunately, without intervention, children tend to grow into their fears, not grow out of them. The good thing is, once children have learned how to challenge worry’s authority and outsmart the tricks the brain can play, they are no longer at the beck and call of their fearful imaginations. Today, kids with anxiety can expect to learn the skills they need to lead a full and happy life. You can help them get there.
Thank you for coming to my site, and I do try to come here frequently and enjoy talking and sharing about what I have learned on how I can be the best parent I can be for my girls. I have learned so much and you can too, learn the best ways to help your anxious child.
